Hello! My name is Maaya Miura. I’m from Japan, Tokyo. I’d lived in Los Angeles since April 2009. I’d been staying at Redondo Beach until the last Dec. I finished my private school “EF International language school” at Redondo Beach on Dec.I’d been studying media and arts at the school.

I’ve started to study related on media and art at UCLA Extension from 2010. I’ve just started the blogging class since January, and I’m so excited to post about fabulous entertainments in Los Angles. Also I’ll post about Tokyo’s cool entertainments too. After I go back to Japan, I’ll keep using my blog telling about Japanese’s culture too!

Furthermore I love traveling and I’m planning to go around the world. I have more than two hundred friends from different countries where from Europe, South America and Asia more. My dream is visiting all of my international friends in the world. So if you read my blog, you can know about many cultures and worlds too. That’s sounds fun huh? I hope you will enjoy my blog with me. If you have any questions or comments to me, leave your message on the box.

…Questions about Me…

- How do you like to live in Los Angeles? Are you not missing Tokyo?

I prefer to live in Los Angeles now, because whole of my life was living in the big city. When I came to Los Angeles, I was surprised at the beautiful beach life. I love to go to beach and spend time without care about time. Sometimes I miss my friends and family in Tokyo, but I think it’s time to change my life to be more international and open mind to know other cultures! So I still love to stay here as long as possible.

- What’s the different to living in Tokyo from Los Angeles?

It’s completely different life from Los Angeles.People live in Tokyo are super busy. Everybody is walking so fast. Also the city never sleep, that’s mean many shops are opening in 24 hours! Actually it’s very convenient and never problem to live in the city. The transportation is awesome too, I never wait to get the train and bus. Also stations are very clean and useful. I’ve never driven in my city, because subway is faster and cheaper than driving car. If you tired to live in country side, I recommend to visit in Tokyo. You’ll surprised to see amazing city life!

- Have you traveled in U.S. and other countries?

I’ve been to Hawaii, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, San Fransisco, Florida, N.Y., Los Angeles and Guam in U.S. On the other countries,I’d been to Italy, Holland and Canada before. I’m planing to visit my friends are living in Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Peru,France,Slovakia, Italy,Germany, Russia, Korea and China. I’m so excited to see all of my friends again!
